Chennai, July 12 -- The National Education Policy (NEP)-2020 was the first attempt to decolonise the education system, according to Tamil Nadu Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, while expressing concern over its non-implementation in the state.
Delivering the 59th Graduation Day address at Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College (Autonomous) here on Saturday evening, he said education must go beyond academic success and contribute meaningfully to the welfare of society and the nation.
