Tridib BaparnashNew Delhi, June 26 -- Two Irish debutants, Matt Hollard and Jai Moondra, produced dream performances to spoil Shreyas Iyer's captaincy debut as Ireland stunned reigning world champions India by 34 runs in the opening T20I at the Civil Service Cricket Club in Belfast on Friday, registering their first-ever victory over India in eight attempts.

Chasing 183, India looked on course early as Abhishek Sharma blasted a breathtaking 19-ball half-century, the 11th fifty of his T20I career. But once the left-hander fell, the innings unravelled spectacularly as Ireland's disciplined bowling attack exposed the visitors' middle order.
