Visakhapatnam, April 7 -- Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCIL) on Tuesday announced it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Colombo Dockyard PLC, marking a significant step in strengthening maritime cooperation between India and Sri Lanka.
The partnership brings together DCIL's dredging expertise and fleet capabilities with Colombo Dockyard's ship repair and shipbuilding infrastructure to deliver cost-effective and efficient solutions in vessel maintenance, repair, retrofitting and new shipbuilding projects.
Managing Director and CEO of DCIL Capt S. Divakar said the collaboration would enhance fleet efficiency and open new opportunities in shipbuilding and offshore support vessels.
