Visakhapatnam, March 30 -- Dredging Corporation of India Limited (DCI) today commemorated its golden jubilee, outlining an ambitious expansion roadmap, a modernisation drive, and a Rs 3,000 crore growth target as it looks to scale up operations and global presence.

Established on March 29, 1976, DCI has played a pivotal role in strengthening India's maritime and port infrastructure over the past five decades.

The company currently handles nearly 80 per cent of the country's maintenance dredging work, managing around 120 million cubic metres annually.
