Ch. Sambhajinagar, Nov. 5 -- A family in Vedanta Nagar, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, was struck by a heartbreaking double tragedy when a daughter-in-law died of a heart attack immediately after learning of her mother-in-law's death.
Family sources said today that her last rites have been scheduled for Wednesday, November 6, 2025, at 3:00 pm at the Pushpa Nagari crematorium.
The incident has left relatives and neighbours in profound shock and grief. Sixty-two-year-old Vijaya Pardesi collapsed and suffered a fatal cardiac arrest shortly after receiving the news of her mother-in-law's passing. She was rushed to the Government Medical College and Hospital but died before she could receive medical treatment.
