Ashok RainaDharamshala, June 3 -- Tibetan spiritual leader the 14th Dalai Lama was formally presented his first Grammy Award at his residence in Dharamshala on Wednesday by renowned sarod maestro Ustad Amjad Ali Khan.
The 90-year-old Buddhist monk, whose spiritual name is Jetsun Jamphel Ngawang Lobsang Yeshe Tenzin Gyatso, won the prestigious Grammy Award in the Best Audiobook, Narration and Storytelling Recording category for his spoken-word album 'Meditations: The Reflections of His Holiness the Dalai Lama'.
