Amaravati, June 14 -- The upper air cyclonic circulation over north interior Karnataka and adjoining Telangana and Rayalaseema now lies over north interior Karnataka and Marathwada, extending up to 5.8 km above mean sea level and tilting southwestward with height, the Meteorological Centre said on Saturday.

In its daily weather report, the Centre stated that a trough now extends from the west-central Arabian Sea to Coastal Andhra Pradesh, passing through the upper air cyclonic circulation over north interior Karnataka and Marathwada between 3.1 and 5.8 km above mean sea level.

Another trough runs from the cyclonic circulation over south Bangladesh and adjoining north Bay of Bengal to south Odisha at 3.1 km above mean sea level. Additional...
