Chennai, Oct. 27 -- Met office today evening said the Cyclonic Storm Monthahas gained momentum and was moving at a speed of 17 kmph and lay centred about440 km east of Chennai, to intensify further as Several Cyclonic Storm before crossing the AndhraPradesh coast by tomorrow evening or night.
In a latest bulletin, it said the Cyclonic Storm "Montha" (Pronunciation: Mon-Tha) overSouthwest and adjoining Westcentral Bay of Bengal moved north-northwestwards witha speed of 17 kmph during the past 6 hours.
