Panchkula, July 18 -- Police in Faridabad and Panchkula have reported arrests in separate cyber-fraud cases involving alleged loan scams, hacked phones, malicious APK files, fake cryptocurrency platforms and fraudulent investment applications.

In Faridabad, the Cyber Crime Police Station, Ballabgarh, arrested six people in three cases, police said. Two men - Navneet Kumar Singh and Nitesh Kumar - were arrested in a case in which a Sector 11 resident was allegedly cheated of Rs 4.45 lakh on the pretext of arranging a bank loan.
