Agartala, May 31 -- A court in Tripura's Khowai has extended the police remand for a suspended sub-inspector connected to the Teliamura contraband misappropriation case, while also sending three other arrested police officers to judicial custody.
According to Public Prosecutor Abhijit Bhattacharjee, the Additional District and Sessions Judge in Khowai has granted an additional five days of police custody for SI Rajendra Reang, who is identified as a principal conspirator in the crime.
