Imphal, April 10 -- Manipur government relaxed curfew for four hours on Friday from 5 am to 9 am to enable people buy essential goods.
Ban on mobile internet services still continues in five districts, Imphal West, Imphal East, Thoubal, Kakching and Bishnupur districts.
Manipur Police yesterday arrested six individuals for allegedly violating curfew restrictions and attacking security personnel in Imphal East district.
All the accused are currently in police custody, and a case has been registered. Further investigation is underway.
Authorities have urged the public to strictly adhere to curfew guidelines and cooperate with law enforcement agencies to maintain law and order in the region.
