Sydney, Nov. 25 -- Australian captain Pat Cummins has offered his strongest indication that he is pushing toward a return for the second Ashes Test in Brisbane, after he was seen training with a pink Kookaburra ball in Sydney on Tuesday.
Cummins, who missed the series opener in Perth due to a lower back issue, bowled several spells in the nets at Cricket Central in Silverwater as he reacquainted himself with the pink ball ahead of the day night clash at the Gabba.
Speaking to Fox Cricket on Saturday, Cummins declared he was a "half-chance" of playing the day-night Test in Brisbane, while Australian coach Andrew McDonald said Tuesday's training session would help determine the 32-year-old's availability for the second match against England...
