Patna, July 16 -- Bihar Governor Lieutenant General (retired) Syed Ata Hasnain today said that crossword puzzles are an intellectual activity that enhances critical thinking and makes the learning process more engaging and interesting.
Speaking after inaugurating the National Inter-College Crossword Expedition (NICE) 2026 at the Chandragupt Institute of Management Patna (CIMP), the Governor said crosswords encourage patience, perseverance and problem-solving by motivating participants to keep trying until they find a solution. Successfully solving a puzzle also helps build self-confidence, he averred.
