Pune, June 1 -- Significant developments emerged on Monday during the hearing in the alleged defamation case filed against Leader of Opposition in the Lok Sabha, Rahul Gandhi, at the Special MP-MLA Court in Pune.
The proceedings were held before Judge Amol Shriram Shinde, where the complainant Satyaki Savarkar - the grandnephew of Vinayak Damodar (Veer) Savarkar -- underwent an extensive cross-examination conducted by Rahul Gandhi's counsel, Advocate Milind Dattatray Pawar.
During the cross-examination, several important points regarding the title "Swatantryaveer" (Freedom Hero) came to light.
