Patna, Sept. 9 -- Bihar Cooperation Minister Ram Kripal Yadav on Wednesday said the state government was committed to protecting the interests and ensuring the economic security of farmers, and the Bihar State Crop Assistance Scheme would provide crucial financial support to those affected by crop losses during Kharif 2026.
Yadav said farmers were showing considerable interest in the scheme, with around 73,000 applications already received.
Online applications for the Kharif 2026 season are being invited under the Bihar State Crop Assistance Scheme, and eligible farmers can apply till October 31. The application process is completely free of cost.
