Nahan (HP), May 26 -- The PO Cell team of Sirmaur Police arrested a criminal declared absconding by the court for eight years from Theog in Shimla district.
District SP NS Negi stated that the criminal, who had been absconding since 2018, had a case of burglary and theft registered against him at Rajgarh police station.
The PO Cell team, Nahan, today arrested the said criminal, Jai Prakash, son of Shri Sundar Singh, resident of village Dhaila Dayothi, Dr. Shargaon, Tehsil Rajgarh, District Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh, from Theog, Shimla.
The SP stated that the accused, Jai Prakash, was wanted in case number 42/18, dated August 12, 2018, registered at Rajgarh police station under sections 457 and 380 of the Indian Penal Code.
