Srinagar, July 23 -- The Economic Offences Wing (EOW) Kashmir of the Crime Branch J&K has filed a chargesheet against four persons in connection with an alleged cheating case involving shawls worth over Rs 2.50 crore, officials said on Thursday.
The chargesheet in a 2022 FIR, registered under Sections 420, 120-B and 201 RPC, was filed before the Court of Sub Judge Small Causes, Srinagar.
Those chargesheeted were identified as Arshid Ahmad Shora alias Bilal of Pakhribal Botakadal, Lalbazar, Srinagar; Firdous Ahmad Mir of Abikarpora, Rainawari, presently residing at Madina Colony near R.P. School, Mallabagh, Srinagar; Firdous Ahmad Bhat of Amda Kadal, Lalbazar, Srinagar; and Aftab Ahmad Shah of Khawabazar, Nowhatta, Srinagar.
