Mumbai, July 15 -- The Mumbai Police along with officials from the Food and Drug Administration (FDA), have busted a racket in sale of adulterated milk. Two persons were arrested and 575 litres of adulterated milk were seized from them in Goregaon area, an official said here on Wednesday.
According to police, the accused were operating from Ankur Building in Prem Nagar area near Link Road, Goregaon West. They allegedly opened packets of branded milk, removed portions, mixed water, resealed the packets and sold them in the market.
