Mumbai, Sept. 5 -- In a decisive move to salvage the future of lakhs of job seekers, the Maharashtra government has constituted a high-level seven-member committee to completely overhaul the state's recruitment and competitive examination framework.
The decision follows widespread public outrage and intense youth protests triggered by recurring examination paper leaks, most notably those that forced the cancellation of the Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) Drug Inspector exam and the Teachers' Eligibility Test (TET).
