Hyderabad, April 1 -- Telangana CPM Secretary John Wesley on Wednesday strongly criticised Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy for his remarks during the ongoing election campaign in Kerala, calling them "misleading and contradictory."Responding to the Chief Minister's comments that "voting for Pinarayi Vijayan is akin to voting for Narendra Modi" and that "Modi and Vijayan are brothers," Wesley said such statements reflected inconsistency and political opportunism.

He pointed out that Revanth Reddy had earlier praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his visit to Telangana, and questioned the sudden shift in stance during the Kerala campaign.
