Samastipur, May 22 -- Communist Party of India (Marxist-Leninist) Liberation, CPI (ML) General Secretary Deepankar Bhattacharya today launched a sharp attack on the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) government, alleging that people across the country are reeling under rising inflation and unemployment during its tenure.
Bhattacharya said here that the NDA had promised "achhe din" to the people, but such promises remain unfulfilled as people continue to struggle with price rise and lack of jobs.
He alleged that whenever citizens, especially youth, protest over their demands, they are met with police action. Instead of addressing public grievances, the government is resorting to repression, he alleged.
