Agartala, Sept. 20 -- The CPI-M-Congress-supported panel has achieved an uncontested victory in the election for Tripura's Unakoti District Bar Association, as the BJP's legal cell did not field any candidates.

The outcome represents a significant setback for the BJP's organisation in the state, as the election process concluded without any competition for the key positions.

Despite the BJP's efforts to strengthen its organisational presence among lawyers in the district, they were unable to submit candidates for the election, drawing attention.
