Shimla, July 5 -- The Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPIM on Sunday strongly opposed the Himachal Pradesh government's recruitment policies for temporary appointments, alleging that increasing reliance on job trainees, contractual, outsourced and part-time employees would undermine job security, worsen unemployment and adversely affect the future of educated youth in the state.

In a statement, CPI(M) Himachal Pradesh state secretary Sanjay Chauhan demanded that the government immediately stop recruitment through part-time, casual, outsourced, contractual and other temporary arrangements and instead fill vacancies in all departments through regular appointments.
