Hanumakonda, Aug. 6 -- CPI State Assistant Secretary Takkallapalli Srinivasa Rao on Thursday said the party has launched a nationwide struggle for political change, alleging that the BJP-led Central government has weakened federalism, neglected farmers and public sector undertakings, and failed to fulfil commitments made to Telangana.

Inaugurating a padayatra in Kazipet as part of a nationwide campaign called by the CPI National Council, Srinivasa Rao said the march would cover several villages and towns in Hanumakonda district to interact with people from all sections of society.
