Hyderabad, Aug. 4 -- Communist Party of India (CPI) Telangana State Secretary, MLA and AITUC Honorary President Kunamneni Sambasiva Rao on Tuesday urged the Telangana government and Singareni management to jointly formulate a comprehensive plan to safeguard Singareni Collieries, describing it as the lifeline of the state.
Addressing a press conference at Makhdoom Bhavan, he welcomed the government's decision to secure the Manuguru Deep Block for Singareni and thanked Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka and union Coal Minister G. Kishan Reddy for their intervention.
