Patna, April 29 -- Communist Party of India (CPI) Bihar State Secretary Ram Naresh Pandey today alleged that criminals have become "unrestrained" in the state ever since a BJP chief minister assumed office.

Claiming a steady deterioration in law and order since the BJP CM came to power in the state, Pandey said incidents of murder and other crimes have increased sharply, creating an atmosphere of fear across Bihar. He cited recent cases from districts such as Bhagalpur, Muzaffarpur and Patna, alleging that criminals are acting without fear, with murders occurring even in broad daylight.
