New Delhi, March 7 -- Delhi Police on Saturday said they have solved the murder of a minor in West Delhi within 48 hours by arresting the victim's 22 year old cousin for allegedly killing the child following a family dispute.

According to police, the child, a resident of Mohan Garden in the Ranhola area, was found dead with sharp injuries on his neck at an under construction building on Thursday.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (Outer District) Vikram Singh said a PCR call reporting the incident was received at Ranhola police station around 12.20 pm, after which officers rushed to the spot.

During the investigation, the boy's father Pachu Mahto informed police that the child had been missing since March 3.
