Sultanpur (UP), Sept. 9 -- A witness was cross-examined in the MP/MLA court in a case against former Congress president and Rae Bareli MP Rahul Gandhi, related to alleged indecent remarks against union Home Minister Amit Shah, prosecution sources said here.
Prosecution sources said that as the process was not completed, Judge Shubham Verma today fixed September 23 as the next date for hearing.
BJP leader Vijay Mishra, a resident of Hanumanganj in Kotwali Dehat, Sultanpur district, filed a defamation case against Rahul Gandhi in 2018, alleging that he was hurt by remarks made during the Karnataka elections.
