Patna, June 16 -- : The special Vigilance Court today granted five days' police remand of Rishu Shri alias Rishu Ranjan Sinha, who is in judicial custody in connection with an alleged corruption case related to government contracts in various departments.
The Special Judge Atul Kumar Singh passed the order after the Special Vigilance Unit sought seven days of custodial interrogation. The court partly accepted the request and directed prison authorities to hand over the accused to the Special Vigilance Unit for questioning from 11 a.m. on June 16 to 11 a.m. on June 20.
