Mumbai, June 13 -- A sessions court here has granted bail to 41-year-old housewife Reshma Muzaffar Qazi, who is accused of allegedly killing her mother, after accepting the defence's contention that she is of unsound mind.
While granting bail, the court also took into consideration the assurance given by her husband that he would take care of her and would ensure that she receives proper medical treatment.
According to the prosecution, on January 4, 2025, Reshma Muzaffar Qazi allegedly stabbed her mother, Sabirabanu Sheikh, multiple times with a kitchen knife during an argument at her residence in Qureshi Nagar, Kurla, in suburban Mumbai.
