Patna, July 31 -- Additional District and Sessions court here on Friday sentenced a man to rigorous life imprisonment for the kidnapping and murder of two children.
The court also imposed a fine of Rs 1.10 lakh on him.
The judge convicted Ganesh Kumar, a resident of Balwa village under Dhanarua police station in Patna district, under Sections 364 (kidnapping), 302 (murder), and 201 (causing disappearance of evidence) of the Indian Penal Code. In default of payment of the fine, the convict will have to undergo an additional six months of imprisonment.
