Mumbai, Feb. 28 -- A special court has accepted the C summary report filed by the Economic Offences Wing in the alleged Rs 25,000 crore Maharashtra State Cooperative Bank case, granting relief to several accused, including former deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar.
The report was submitted before the Anti-Corruption Bureau Special Court. It exonerates all accused, including Sunetra Pawar, MLA Rohit Pawar and nearly 70 others.
The court also rejected an intervention plea filed by the Enforcement Directorate. Around 30 protest petitions, including those filed by social activist Anna Hazare and former minister Shalini Patil, were dismissed.
