Lakhimpur Kheri, April 26 -- A tragic road accident late Saturday night claimed the lives of a couple and left another woman seriously injured near Bhikhampur crossing in the Mitauli police station area.According to police reports, Satendra Kumar (40), a resident of Bagha Koreya village under Haiderabad police station, was returning home from a wedding along with his wife Sarita (35) and sister-in-law Maina Devi (45). The trio had attended a family wedding in Palhapur village, under Maholi police station limits.
At around 1:00 AM on Sunday, while they were crossing the road at Bhikhampur crossing on a motorcycle, a speeding car coming from the Mohammadi side rammed into them.
