Thrissur, Jan. 4 -- A wedding ceremony is a memorable event in one's life, and nowadays, young couples strive to add a unique touch to the ceremonies.
Such an exceptional marriage took place at the sub registrar's office at Nemmara in Palakkad district on New Year's Day.
Instead of traditional rituals, the bride and groom exchanged copies of the Indian Constitution, making it a constitutional wedding in every sense.
"We wanted our wedding to reflect the ideals of the Constitution, and to celebrate simplicity," said Sheetal and Jitin after the ceremony, which was completely free of customary formalities.
