Panchkula, Aug. 22 -- Haryana police has arrested a couple for allegedly pouring boiling water on a woman while she was asleep, leaving her seriously burnt, and subsequently confining her to a room for around three days in Faridabad, a police spokesperson said.

The accused have been identified as Lalita and her husband Dharmendra. They were arrested by a team of Dhauj police station in connection with the incident reported from Gaddha Colony in Qureshipur village.
