Varanasi, Oct. 22 -- A tragic road accident near the Bhiti police outpost in the Ramnagar area of Varanasi district today claimed the lives of a couple and their one-year-old daughter. All three victims died on the spot after their motorcycle was crushed under the wheels of a dumper truck.
According to police and eyewitnesses, the incident occurred near a bend in the road in front of Shubhratna Restaurant. The motorcyclist attempted to overtake the dumper truck, which were both heading from Ramnagar toward Tengramod, but lost control of the bike. The couple and their child fell and were instantly crushed by the vehicle.
