Ranchi, Feb. 27 -- In compliance with the directives of the Jharkhand State Election Commission, the counting of votes for the Municipal General Elections 2026 commenced at 8:00 am on Friday. The counting process is being conducted under stringent security arrangements and with complete transparency.
District Election Officer (Municipal)-cum-Deputy Commissioner, Ranchi, Manjunath Bhajantri visited the counting centre to review the ongoing process. During his inspection, he issued key instructions to officials to ensure transparency, impartiality and timely completion of counting procedures.
