Mumbai, Sept. 12 -- BJP Maharashtra chief spokesperson Navnath Ban on Saturday criticised Shiv Sena (UBT) leader Sanjay Raut over his remarks concerning union Home Minister Amit Shah's security convoy.

Speaking at a press conference at the BJP state office, Ban said Raut should focus on the number of workers, MLAs and MPs remaining in his party instead of commenting on Shah's convoy.

Ban credited Shah's leadership with the abrogation of Article 370 and the government's measures against terrorism. He also alleged that bomb blasts were frequent during previous Congress-led governments and claimed that no such incident had taken place in the 12 years since Shah became union Home Minister.
