Kolkata, March 23 -- In a significant development, the Coochbehar district administration has decided to train the jawans of the central forces deployed for election duty in basic Bengali language to avoid communication gap between them and the common people.

Sources in the administration said the process is aimed to prevent misunderstandings and enhance voter confidence. The move is also part of a broader strategy to strengthen public outreach and ensure a peaceful polling process.
