Nagpur, Aug. 28 -- : The District Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission in Nagpur has recently directed an amusement park in the city to pay compensation of Rs 4.75 lakh to a visitor who allegedly suffered food poisoning after consuming expired food purchased inside the park.

According to the complaint, the visitor and his family had visited the amusement park (Fun N Food Village)and bought packaged food items from a stall operating within the premises.

After consuming the products, they reportedly fell ill and later discovered that the food items had crossed their expiry date.
