Thiruvananthapuram, Oct. 2 -- The Congress will launch a nationwide 'Vote Bachao, Desh Bachao' campaign from October 2 to 8, bringing together major political parties and leaders of the INDIA bloc in a concerted movement to protect democracy and the voting rights of citizens, AICC general secretary K.C. Venugopal said on Friday.
Talking to newspersons in Adoor, Venugopal said the week-long campaign would be a major political struggle against what he alleged was the systematic undermining of the democratic process and the Election Commission.
