New Delhi, May 26 -- The Congress on Tuesday sharpened its attack on the Narendra Modi government over the state of the economy, with senior party leader accusing the Centre of ignoring what he described as the "fourth and most important F"-the decline in private investment.
In a strongly worded post on social media platform X, Congress leader Jairam Ramesh referred to the Finance Minister's recent remarks that Fuel, Fertilisers and Forex were the three major areas of concern for the economy, but argued that the government was overlooking the deeper structural problem of weakening private investment and falling investor confidence.
