Patna, Oct. 26 -- The Congress has intensified preparations for the 'Vote Bachao-Desh Bachao' (Save Vote, Save Country) mega rally scheduled to be held at Ramlila Maidan in New Delhi on November 1.
As part of the preparations, an organisational meeting was held here on Monday where detailed discussions were held on ensuring maximum participation of party workers from Patna and making the necessary arrangements for the rally.
Congress observer and former MP R C Khuntia addressed district office-bearers, block presidents and party workers, stressing the need to activate and strengthen the organisation.
The meeting was chaired by Patna Metropolitan Congress Committee president Kumar Ashish.
