Kangra, April 13 -- Agricultural Produce Market Committee (APMC) Chairman Nishu Mongra today said that the Congress government is investing over Rs.53 crore to expand sewerage facilities in villages adjoining Kangra town, while accusing BJP leaders of misleading the public with false claims.

Addressing the media after a virtual meeting with officials, Mongra stated that the sewerage project received technical approval on March 31, 2023, under the present state government led by Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu it is being expanded.

He questioned the basis on which BJP leaders are taking credit for the project.
