Congress slams fund disparity in Mumbai Municipal Corporation
Mumbai, Apr 10 ( UNI) A political controversy has erupted over the allocation of development funds in the Mumbai Municipal Corporation, with senior Congress leader Vijay Wadettiwar strongly criticising the ruling dispensation.Speaking to the media, Wadettiwar alleged a significant disparity in the distribution of funds among corporators. He claimed that corporators belonging to the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction) are being allocated as little as rupees 2 lakh, while those aligned with the Shiv Sena (Eknath Shinde faction) are receiving substantially higher amounts, ranging from 25 lakh to 20 crore.Questioning the fairness of the process, he remarked, "Can this be called balanced development?
