New Delhi, Aug. 6 -- Congress general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh on Thursday alleged that the Narendra Modi government had failed to implement several key recommendations made by the K Radhakrishnan-led expert committee constituted after the 2024 NEET-UG paper leak, and claimed that the newly formed Nandan Nilekani-led High Powered Task Force on examination reforms was an attempt at "damage control" in the wake of the 2026 NEET-UG controversy.
In a post on social media platform X, Ramesh compared the government's responses to the paper leak crises in 2024 and 2026, contending that instead of implementing earlier recommendations, the Centre had opted to set up another expert panel.
