Hyderabad, June 12 -- Bharat Rashtra Samiti (BRS Working) President K T Rama Rao (KTR) on Friday alleged that internal conspiracies within the Congress party were responsible for the defeat of AICC Telangana in-charge Meenakshi Natarajan in the Rajya Sabha election.
Addressing a media conference, KTR said the Congress party itself was solely responsible for her defeat and demanded that its leadership identify those who had betrayed the party.
He questioned why the Congress was attempting to drag the opposition into the controversy and suggested that an inquiry be conducted to determine who leaked details related to cases against Meenakshi Natarajan.
