New Delhi, Sept. 5 -- The Congress on Saturday carried out a major organisational reshuffle, assigning new responsibilities to several senior leaders as AICC general secretaries and state in-charges, in a move aimed at strengthening the party's organisational machinery and improving coordination with state units ahead of key political and electoral challenges.
According to a press release issued by AICC general secretary K C Venugopal, the Congress president has reassigned and appointed several party functionaries as AICC general secretary/in-charge of various states with immediate effect.
