New Delhi, Aug. 11 -- Congress general secretary in-charge communications Jairam Ramesh on Tuesday stepped up his attack on union Home Minister Amit Shah over his continued absence from Parliament, claiming that Shah had not attended either the Lok Sabha or the Rajya Sabha for 17 days despite having parliamentary business listed in his name.
In a post on social media platform X, Ramesh said Shah was absent from the Lok Sabha again on Tuesday even though he was scheduled to take up official business.
"After all that planting of news and desperate attempts to shift the narrative, the union Home Minister was a no-show in the Lok Sabha today as well - even though he had business listed against his name," Ramesh said.
