Karimnagar, June 16 -- union Minister of State for Home Affairs and BJP leader Bandi Sanjay Kumar on Tuesday demanded that the Congress clearly state whether it supports the removal of votes belonging to illegal foreign infiltrators from countries such as Pakistan and Bangladesh.
He alleged that the Congress was attempting to create communal divisions by equating Indian Muslims with foreign infiltrators for political gain.
Speaking to the media during a "Chai Pe Charcha" programme with RMP doctors at Manakondur in Karimnagar district, Bandi Sanjay asserted that no genuine Indian citizen's voting rights would be affected and questioned why Congress was opposing the removal of illegal migrants from voter lists.
